# Updating Lotus

If you installed Lotus on your machine, you can upgrade to the latest version by doing the following:
|
|
|
|
```sh
|
|
# get the latest
|
|
git pull origin master
|
|
|
|
# clean and remake the binaries
|
|
make clean && make build
|
|
``` |
