# Kompose roadmap # Kompose roadmap
This document is a general overview of upcoming development for `kompose`. The goal of Kompose is to have the best possible experience converting and using Docker Compose files with Kubernetes (and OpenShift!). For both development and production environments.
It lists only important features and general direction for upcoming releases.
The dates below are not considered set-in-stone, but rather an approximation of each release.
