From c213fd1fd8bb624241da7fc98cf25098d8b92761 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Felix Lange Date: Wed, 22 Mar 2017 18:20:33 +0100 Subject: [PATCH 1/3] all: import "context" instead of "golang.org/x/net/context" There is no need to depend on the old context package now that the minimum Go version is 1.7. The move to "context" eliminates our weird vendoring setup. Some vendored code still uses golang.org/x/net/context and it is now vendored in the normal way. This change triggered new vet checks around context.WithTimeout which didn't fire with golang.org/x/net/context. --- accounts/abi/bind/backend.go | 2 +- accounts/abi/bind/backends/simulated.go | 2 +- accounts/abi/bind/base.go | 2 +- accounts/abi/bind/util.go | 2 +- accounts/abi/bind/util_test.go | 2 +- accounts/usbwallet/ledger_wallet.go | 2 +- build/_vendor/src/golang.org/x/net/LICENSE | 27 ------- build/ci-notes.md | 15 ---- contracts/chequebook/cheque.go | 2 +- contracts/release/release.go | 74 ++++++++++--------- eth/api.go | 2 +- eth/api_backend.go | 2 +- eth/bind.go | 2 +- eth/downloader/api.go | 2 +- eth/filters/api.go | 3 +- eth/filters/filter.go | 5 +- eth/filters/filter_system.go | 5 +- eth/filters/filter_system_test.go | 3 +- eth/filters/filter_test.go | 3 +- eth/gasprice/lightprice.go | 2 +- ethclient/ethclient.go | 2 +- event/subscription.go | 2 +- event/subscription_test.go | 3 +- interfaces.go | 2 +- internal/build/util.go | 13 +--- internal/ethapi/api.go | 2 +- internal/ethapi/backend.go | 2 +- les/api_backend.go | 2 +- les/odr.go | 2 +- les/odr_test.go | 7 +- les/request_test.go | 6 +- les/sync.go | 6 +- light/lightchain.go | 2 +- light/lightchain_test.go | 2 +- light/odr.go | 2 +- light/odr_test.go | 7 +- light/odr_util.go | 2 +- light/state.go | 2 +- light/state_object.go | 2 +- light/state_test.go | 2 +- light/trie.go | 3 +- light/txpool.go | 34 +++++---- light/txpool_test.go | 5 +- light/vm_env.go | 2 +- mobile/context.go | 3 +- rpc/client.go | 2 +- rpc/client_context_go1.4.go | 60 --------------- rpc/client_context_go1.5.go | 61 --------------- rpc/client_context_go1.6.go | 55 -------------- rpc/client_context_go1.7.go | 51 ------------- rpc/client_example_test.go | 2 +- rpc/client_test.go | 2 +- rpc/http.go | 6 +- rpc/inproc.go | 3 +- rpc/ipc.go | 3 +- rpc/ipc_unix.go | 3 +- rpc/ipc_windows.go | 2 +- rpc/server.go | 3 +- rpc/server_test.go | 3 +- rpc/subscription.go | 3 +- rpc/subscription_test.go | 3 +- rpc/utils.go | 3 +- rpc/websocket.go | 19 ++++- swarm/services/swap/swap.go | 2 +- swarm/swarm.go | 2 +- .../golang.org/x/net/context/context.go | 30 ++++---- .../golang.org/x/net/context/go17.go | 4 +- .../golang.org/x/net/context/pre_go17.go | 18 ++--- vendor/vendor.json | 8 +- 69 files changed, 187 insertions(+), 437 deletions(-) delete mode 100644 build/_vendor/src/golang.org/x/net/LICENSE delete mode 100644 rpc/client_context_go1.4.go delete mode 100644 rpc/client_context_go1.5.go delete mode 100644 rpc/client_context_go1.6.go delete mode 100644 rpc/client_context_go1.7.go rename {build/_vendor/src => vendor}/golang.org/x/net/context/context.go (82%) rename {build/_vendor/src => vendor}/golang.org/x/net/context/go17.go (96%) rename {build/_vendor/src => vendor}/golang.org/x/net/context/pre_go17.go (93%) diff --git a/accounts/abi/bind/backend.go b/accounts/abi/bind/backend.go index 4509e222d..25b61928e 100644 --- a/accounts/abi/bind/backend.go +++ b/accounts/abi/bind/backend.go @@ -17,13 +17,13 @@ package bind import ( + "context" "errors" "math/big" "github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum" "github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/common" "github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/core/types" -
