feat: add cli for tips transactions (#10311)
<!-- The default pull request template is for types feat, fix, or refactor. For other templates, add one of the following parameters to the url: - template=docs.md - template=other.md --> ## Description Closes: #10264 This PR makes 2 changes in the CLI: ### 1. Add an `--aux` flag to all tx command. ```bash simd tx bank send <from> <to> <amount> --aux (optional: --tip <tipAmt> --tipper <tipper>) ``` This will print an AuxSignerData instead of broadcasting the tx. ### 2. Add a new `aux-to-fee` subcommand ```bash simd tx aux-to-fee <aux_signer_data.json> ``` This takes the output of the previous command, and broadcasts a 2-signer tx. <!-- Add a description of the changes that this PR introduces and the files that are the most critical to review. --> --- ### Author Checklist *All items are required. refactor: middleware refactor to change tx.Handler interface (#10527)
<!-- The default pull request template is for types feat, fix, or refactor. For other templates, add one of the following parameters to the url: - template=docs.md - template=other.md --> ## Description Closes: #10484 This PR makes the following big changes: ### 1. Change the tx.Handler interface ```diff - CheckTx(ctx context.Context, tx sdk.Tx, req abci.RequestCheckTx) (abci.ResponseCheckTx, error) + CheckTx(ctx context.Context, req tx.Request, checkReq tx.RequestCheckTx) (tx.Response, tx.ResponseCheckTx, error) // same for Deliver and Simulate ``` where: ```go type Response struct { GasWanted uint64 GasUsed uint64 // MsgResponses is an array containing each Msg service handler's response // type, packed in an Any. This will get proto-serialized into the `Data` field // in the ABCI Check/DeliverTx responses. MsgResponses []*codectypes.Any Log string Events []abci.Event } ``` ### 2. Change what gets passed into the ABCI Check/DeliverTx `Data` field Before, we were passing the concatenation of MsgResponse bytes into the `Data`. Now we are passing the proto-serialiazation of this struct: ```proto message TxMsgData { repeated google.protobuf.Any msg_responses = 2; } ``` <!-- Add a description of the changes that this PR introduces and the files that are the most critical to review. --> --- ### Author Checklist *All items are required. build: add remote debugging with delve (#10587)
## Description This is a feat and adds functionality for a developer to remote-debug a testnet node. This is made possible with `delve` remote debugging. I received some help from here: https://kupczynski.info/2020/05/17/remote-debug-go-code.html Also, @creachadair I made a tiny modification in the testnet file generation. I removed the `localnet` folder and simply let the `testnet init-files` to use the default `.testnets`, since this is also being `.gitignore`d in the repo, and we don't usually want these files in the main repo. Let me know if there are any implications to your update that you made a few days ago. --- ### Author Checklist *All items are required. fix(cosmovisor): udpate the help and version command output (#10458)
## Description Closes: #10450 * `cosmovisor help` should not print any error. * `cosmovisor version` should print more clear message if it can't run `app version`. ## Before ``` ~/tmp ❯ cosmovisor version Cosmosvisor - A process manager for Cosmos SDK application binaries. Cosmovisor is a wrapper for a Cosmos SDK based App (set using the required DAEMON_NAME env variable). It starts the App by passing all provided arguments and monitors the DAEMON_HOME/data/upgrade-info.json file to perform an update. The upgrade-info.json file is created by the App x/upgrade module when the blockchain height reaches an approved upgrade proposal. The file includes data from the proposal. Cosmovisor interprets that data to perform an update: switch a current binary and restart the App. Configuration of Cosmovisor is done through environment variables, which are documented in: https://github.com/cosmos/cosmos-sdk/tree/master/cosmovisor/README.md 8:03PM ERR multiple configuration errors found: module=cosmovisor 8:03PM ERR 1: error="DAEMON_NAME is not set" module=cosmovisor 8:03PM ERR 2: error="DAEMON_HOME is not set" module=cosmovisor 8:03PM ERR error="2 errors: 1: DAEMON_NAME is not set, 2: DAEMON_HOME is not set" module=cosmovisor ❯ cosmovisor help Cosmosvisor - A process manager for Cosmos SDK application binaries.
